The Kirov Ballet will present the ever-popular Swan Lake in the Teatro Communale of Trieste, in Northern Italy, from March 6 through 14. The company performs daily, except on March 8. An extra matinee performance was added for the 13th.

The casts will be headed by some of the company's greatest interpreters of this ballet: Uliana Lopatkina, Yulia Makhalina, and Irma Nioradze. Audiences will, moreover, be able to admire the much-acclaimed young star of the Kirov, Svetlana Zakharova, new to the role of Odette/Odile

Igor Zelensky, Farukh Ruzimatov, Evgeny Ivanchenko, and Danila Korsuntsev are scheduled to appear in Trieste as well.
