The Kirov Ballet will take a full company to Genoa, Italy, July 23-28, for the 30th International Ballet Festival di Nervi.

Performances of La Bayadère will be on July 23, 24, 25, and 26 in the Teatro Carlo Felice, curtain 9 p.m.

On July 28 the Kirov will close the festival with a divertissement called "Nervi Festival Gala." This open-air performance, in the Teatro ai Parchi di Nervi, curtain 9:30 p.m., will feature Kirov soloists in excerpts from Paquita, Pas de Quatre, Markitenka, Diana and Actaeon, and Le Corsaire.

The festival is organized by the Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa, Italy, and runs July 3-28. Also performing will be the Ballet National de Marseille (with Roland Petit's Le Lac des Cygnes et Ses Maléfices — featured on this site), the Mark Morris Dance Group, and Ballet Preljocaj.
